Poor breathing will leave your body not getting enough oxygen which then leads to exhaustion and then….. poor performance.
In general, you should always have good posture, good alignment so your body oxygen intake is at its best. Inhale from the nose and exhale from the mouth. Try to find a good tempo for that particular exercise.
